Got up and did the 2nd annual local Turkey Trot.. Was happy to hear there was about 250 runners.. (This is a good turnout in my town) Anyway, my splits were 6:13, 7:07,(big hill on mile 2) 6:25 last .02 in 7 seconds. (I showed the course only being 3.02 not 3.1) Anyway, I felt good about it.. I was probably 12th or 13th overall and the next girl in was about 40-45 seconds behind me. I looked at my results from last year and was about a minute 15 seconds slower this year-but what can I expect at 17 weeks pregnant.. I will take it.. I felt good the whole time-pushing but not too hard, although now I am tired... Won a 75 girftcard to safeway and new shoes so I am happy about that.. My kids liked the little games and face painting afterward and my daughter even did the best gobbler contest.. haha.. Happy Turkey Day next week!

That sounds like a race worth winning. Congrats on the baby! To run like that at 17 weeks is really something.
